Elizabeth Spinney

Elizabeth Helene Spinney, age 88, affectionally known as Bea, died, December 15, 2024 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital.  Born in Argyle Sound, she was the daughter of the late Mary Lillian Harding (Hopkins).  She is survived by her daughter; Thelma (Roy) Greening, NL, sons; Arley (Sharon) Spinney, Lower Argyle and Allen Spinney, Yarmouth. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.   She was predeceased by her husband Ronald Spinney, a son; Barry in infancy, her mother Lillian Harding and her daughter-in-law; Nina.                                                                                                                                                               

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 19, 2024 from 10-11am with a funeral service at 11am with Pastor Mitchell Deware officiating, all taking place in the Argyle-Pubnico Baptist Church.  The service will be live streamed on the West Pubnico Funeral Home and Cremation Services Facebook page beginning at 11am.  Interment will be in the Laurel Hill Cemetery, Pubnico.  Donations in memory may be made online to Hope for Wildlife or a charity of one’s choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to West Pubnico Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Middle West Pubnico.  902 762-3407

A special thank you to the following people; Donna Nickerson for being there for Mom and being such a great friend.  To all of the staff and residents of Pont du Marais, she loved you all.  To the staff of 4 East, my brother and I thank you for your great care and kindness.
