Jean d'Entremont

Jean Adolphe d’Entremont, age 77, of Nakile Home for Special Care, Argyle died September 28, 2024 in the home.  Born in Lower West Pubnico, he was a son of the late Benoit Joseph and Marjorie Monique (d’Entremont) d’Entremont.  Jean is survived by brothers; Laurent, Lower West Pubnico, Rémi (Rita) Middle West Pubnico, Vincent (Bonnie), Brookside, NS, Colin, Lower West Pubnico, Patrick (Cindy), Halifax, Nil (Jane) Halifax, Cyril (Carol), New Minas, NS, sister; Sarah (Bill) Moulton, Lower Sackville as well as many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by brothers; Martial and Alban, sisters; Olivette Richard, Simone Meuse and Jacqueline d’Entremont.  A family graveside service will be held at a later date.  On line condolences may be forwarded to the family at westpubnicofh.com.  Donations in memory may be made to St. Peter’s Church for the heating fund.  Jean was considered autistic but that did not stop him from receiving a Bachelor of Arts from Université Ste. Anne.  Jean had a great memory.  He greeted everyone with a smile and wanted to find out who they were and where they were from.  He was a resident of La Maison au Coucher du Soleil for approximately 30 years and then Nakile Home for Special Care for 3 years.  The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at La Maison Au Coucher du Soleil and Nakile Home for all the love and compassion that was shown to their brother.
