Catherine d’Entremont

d’Entremont, Catherine Rosalie "Kay" – 87 of Nakile Home for Special Care, Argyle, formerly of Minique’s Hill Road, Middle West Pubnico, passed away peacefully at Nakile Home for Special Care, on Tuesday, June 6th, 2023.

Born April 24, 1936, in West Pubnico.  She was a daughter of the late Harry and Francis (Surette) d’Entremont.

Surviving are her children, Mitchell (Yvonne) d’Entremont, Middle West Pubnico, Glenn (Jodi) d’Entremont, Yarmouth and Bradley (Ginette) d’Entremont, Middle West Pubnico; grandchildren, Nicole, Claude, Bailey, Brock, Chelsea and Caylee.  Also surviving are sister Patricia (Sylvain) d’Eon, Lower West Pubnico, sister-in-law Barbara (Alphee) d’Entremont, Middle West Pubnico, and brother-in-law Father Albeni d’Entremont, Middle West Pubnico.

Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Francois, sisters, Clarisse, Georgine, Carmel, and brothers Viat and Herman.

Visitation will take place from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, Monday June 12, 2023, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 am with Father Albeni d’Entremont officiating. The service will be live streamed on the West Pubnico Funeral Home and Cremation Services Facebook site beginning at 11am.  Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff of Nakile Home for Special Care for the love, care and support they provided to Kay during her stay at the home.

Kay was very devoted in her catholic faith.  She enjoyed knitting, quilting and line dancing.  She loved baking for her grandchildren.  She loved being outside working in the flower gardens and taking long walks. Kay was a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother and doted on her grandchildren every chance she could.  She will be missed by all who loved her.  Reposez en paix, avec amour mame!
