Ronald d'Entremont

Ronald d'Entremont
Ronald Philip d’Entremont, affectionately known as ‘Ronald the Plumber’, age 59 of Lower West Pubnico, died October 8, 2022 at the QEII Health Sciences Center in Halifax. Born at Yarmouth Regional Hospital, he was the son of Carmelita Anne d’Entremont (Pierre d’Eon), Lower West Pubnico and the late Herman Francois d’Entremont.

He is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth (Liz), son Chad (Tessa) of Lower Wedgeport, daughter Chelsea (Jarron) of Lower West Pubnico, sisters: Laurel (Kevin) Amirault, Lower West Pubnico, Wilma (Milton) d’Eon, Middle West Pubnico and Corinna (Wayne) Ross, Cape Sable Island. Ronald was expecting a grandson in March. He is also survived by his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Diane and Tony Smith, a sister-in-law Wendy (Allan Hallett) Smith Stewart and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a granddaughter; Huntlie.

Ronald was a committed member of the St. Peter’s Catholic Church Parish Council. In his later years, his faith guided him through difficult challenges in life.

Ronald devoted much of his time in his plumbing business, serving his community. Day and night, he could always be counted on.

His biggest enjoyments were: golfing, travelling, watching hockey and camping. His camping family in the summer months at Castle Lake Campground was something he always looked forward to. Particular to a fault, Ronald’s pride in his lawn care never went unnoticed.

Although modest and quiet, Ronald’s biggest and upmost importance of life was Chad, Chelsea and Liz.

A special thanks goes to Reginald (Nul). The mentorship over the years turned into a great friendship that will never be forgotten.

A sincere thanks and appreciation goes to Dr. Weeks and her team at the QEII for their dedication with Ronald through his complex journey. Ronald’s organ donation will live on in others.
