Normy was a caring husband and devoted father. He would always proudly share his wisdom and knowledge with his children and grandchildren.
He was a skilled fisherman. At the age of 15, he began swordfishing and lobstering. Soon afterwards, he was the captain of a lobster boat and a herring seiner, and co-founder of South West Seiners.
Papa was a generous and social man. He always made his daily rounds to the wharf to catch up on fishing yarns. He enjoyed hunting, golfing, watching the Toronto Blue Jays, and travelling with family and friends.
We would like to thank our mom, Dr. Loveridge, staff at the Yarmouth Hospital, and Meadows, for taking good care of our father this past year.
We will miss our kind and humble papa!
